What is FlipSetter Academy?
A tutoring group advertised in many places online, and owned by the parent company, FlipSetter. We use our celebrated whiteboard to bring students and tutors together to deliver the best, educational services that any system can offer. We offer tutoring, mentoring and consulting for all age groups. We currently specialize in standardized test prep i.e. SAT, ASVAB and others, and we occasionally offer subject based tutoring upon request. What is your Easy Pay option?

Our Easy Pay option is a simple way for us to log your payment information i.e. email address, frequency, and payment plan into our system to keep billing easy for both us and our customers. We use a secured payment gateway to ensure all transactions are secured and comply with federal regulations on both the user account and payment method.  Send us a message on our main FlipSetter Contact Us page, and a member of our staff will assist you.

How do I close my account? 

Currently, you can request Deactivating your account by going to our Contact Us page. Our technical support team will assist you and deactivate your account (please allow at least 24 hours for it take effect).

What is FlipSetter's whiteboard?

It’s an online paint tool where you can doodle, write, collaborate and host meetings on FlipSetter. You can learn more about its features by visiting our whiteboard page.

What does the whiteboard do? 

Many things! Such as:

• Change canvas to different colors and backgrounds

• Upload content to the canvas

• Upload links, content and emojis to messages

• Everyone can draw and write

• Whiteboard playback feature (you can replay any whiteboard session at any time like a movie)

Who can use our whiteboard?

Everyone can use our tool. We combine state of the art technology, and with audio, video and messaging then business owners, schools, students and coworkers can collaborate, study, draw, be social and much more! We welcome all industries to utilize our celebrated whiteboard tool as the most complete solution for all of your needs.

How many people can FlipSetter's whiteboard hold?

Currently, we recommend a maximum of 10 people in-house (within FlipSetter). It’s advised that you have a strong internet connection to avoid lag. Sometimes we fuse our whiteboard with other technologies and can cover up to 250 people per room. Inquire with our tech support team as to how to maximize your student coverage if you're a tutor while running the FlipSetter whiteboard in the background.

Is FlipSetter's instant messaging and whiteboard platform secured?

Yes, FlipSetter’s instant messaging and whiteboard whether one-to-one or group sessions are secured. We also have Admit and Deny privacy options for hosts to customize their rooms. We also have other security measures and protocols in place that abide by GDPR laws to promote a secured, robust, professional and entertaining experience.

What measures do you take to secure user data on FlipSetter Academy and FlipSetter?

Our measures include:

• Secure Socket Layer (SSL): A crypto protocol design to provide secure communication on the web. Applications can also include web browsing, e-mail, faxes, instant messaging and others.

• Firewall: A crypto code that prevents outside hackers from penetrating into FlipSetter.

• Database Security: Software that prevents malicious code from breaking database and personal information.

• Antivirus: Software that detects and sweeps viruses, worms, trojans, bots and spyware.

• E-mail security: Software that monitors incoming e-mail and outgoing e-mail to and from FlipSetter

Does FlipSetter Academy offer a higher score guarantee for the ASVAB, SAT or any other class I'm studying for?

Higher score is possible! (Historically, 100% success rate of students achieving higher scores). If you follow system protocols then it is in fact possible for the higher score to be achieved.

The more practice and training tests you take, ability to excel at homework, grasp concepts and proactively ask questions the higher you score. You are encouraged to ask our Teaching Assistants (TAs) for advice too. FlipSetter Academy is a an educational program specifically to help educate students. There WILL NOT be any exchange of personal communication during classroom activity as a tutoring policy, unless absolutely necessary. You are welcome to connect with students on your own time.

The FlipSetter staff will not be held liable for any inappropriate content and misrepresentations of guarantees. You are required to present yourself properly, appropriately and academically. We will also not be held liable for any misperceptions and misconceptions that you feel the software or tutor did not adequately explain. Therefore, inquire further. All FlipSetter staff will be held to the strictest policy for academic honesty, professional impression i.e. attire, age-appropriate backgrounds and students are also expected to uphold the same principles. Only FlipSetter staff will be required to go through a background check. If FlipSetter staff and student(s) do not abide by these conditions, they will be immediately removed from the classroom or company. It is however the tutor's discretion to provide an appropriate environment. Students and / or staff are encouraged to report any inappropriate content to the FlipSetter legal team, and the tech support team will also work injunction to deliver the appropriate action, which is usually removal from the classroom environment, and in the most major case, completely banned from the FlipSetter website and its products and services.

Usually a 1400 and above

What is a competitive ASVAB score?

Usually a 60% and above

How can I get in contact with a staff member or FlipSetter Academy to enroll into the SAT, ASVAB or other class offered by a tutor?

***Before you get in contact with another staff member, any classes outside of our standard pricing for the SAT and ASVAB are independently controlled by our staff members. They reserve the right to set their hourly rates, as long as they abide by FlipSetter Academy's brand and commitment to offer the best Customer Service and quality of education during your tutoring.
